Robert Pattinson Smokes and Doesn't Like Children...

...But we love him anyway! Haha. Here's a set report from over at TwilightMoms. The author got to hang out with Robert during her set visit:

"So we went over to Rob’s trailer and he was sitting on the couch smoking. He agreed to come meet me, and after taking two pics of us, the guy with me walked away again. So Rob and I started talking, and he didn’t seem to be in a hurry to go back to sitting in his trailer. So we just kept talking! Realistically, I think we stood there for like 45 min, and Rob was such a sweetheart and completely friendly! And god was it hard not to just want to stare at him sometimes! We talked about a bunch of stuff (that I won’t want to go into too much detail about for his privacy)...nothing groundbreaking, but still interesting, including:

- Washington, DC that’s where I’m from, and even though his sister used to live there, he had never visited, so he was asking me what the city was like

- He told me about a car that he almost bought for $1000 recently, and other cars that he likes; he also wondered if he could get Volvo to give him one of the cars (they had 3 of them on set); oh, and he also said he just got his license recently, so he's still practicing

- He wondered what town we were in since all the small downs looked the same (he actually asked me if we were in OR, ha)

- He said he was a little worried because he needed to get an apartment now that filming was over since he plans to move to LA (something he never thought he'd do); he said he'd like to live in a trailer or in the back of a car

- He said he’d read a script recently that not only was really bad, but that had a title that sounded like a “bad porno”; also said that he hated roles that required him to be "the most beautiful guy in the world"

- He talked about how he’s surprised at how big this movie is going to be and all the constant interviews and TV cameras

- He asked which Harry Potter was coming out next and laughed when I mentioned that they’re making the last book into 2 movies

- I noted his bad smoking habit, which he blamed on set boredom (he probably smoked 3 cigarettes while we talked); I told him my husband uses the same “boredom” excuse when he’s deployed to Iraq, and Rob asked me some questions about that

- He thought about the idea of celebrity and how it’s so weird to him; he had walked into town to get coffee earlier and was embarrassed when he saw fans staring at him from across the street (although he appreciated them being so nice about it)

- He mentioned the new book he’s reading but forgot to bring with him (he didn’t know was it was about, he just liked the cover); he also suggested a book store for me to visit in Portland

- He talked about how some actors can be demanding on sets, and we joked that he should walk around with his hand out demanding coffee

- He noted that his eyes were getting dry from the contacts"

Robert Pattinson fuma e non gli piacciono i bambini…

…ma noi lo amiamo lo stesso! Haha. Qui di seguito il racconto di una twilightmom che è riuscita a “beccare” Rob durante una visita sul set:


“ Così siamo andati alla roulotte di Rob e lui stava fumando seduto sul divano. Ha acconsentito ad incontrarmi e, dopo aver scattato due foto, il ragazzo che era con me si è allontanato di nuovo. Così io e Rob abbiamo iniziato a parlare e lui sembrava non avere alcuna fretta di tornarsene nella sua roulotte. E così abbiamo continuato a parlare! Davvero, credo che siamo stati lì a parlare per tre quarti d’ora e lui è stato un tesoro, del tutto amichevole. E mio Dio! A volte è stato proprio difficile vincere la tentazione di stare lì a fissarlo e basta…
Abbiamo parlato del più e del meno (ma non entrerò nei dettagli per rispettare la sua privacy)…nulla di nuovo, ma comunque cose interessanti, tipo:


-Washington DC, la città da dove provengo. Anche se sua sorella vive lì, mi ha detto che lui non c'è mai stato. Mi ha chiesto com’era la città.
-Mi ha detto che di recente stava per comprare una macchina da 1000 dollari e mi ha anche parlato di alcune macchine che gli piacciono. Si chiedeva se la Volvo potesse dargli una delle tre macchine che hanno sul set. Oh, ha aggiunto che ha preso da poco la patente e che sta facendo ancora pratica
-Si chiedeva in quale città ci trovassimo, dato che tutte le colline sembrano uguali (mi ha chiesto se eravamo davvero nell' OREGON)
-Era un po’ preoccupato perché deve trovare un appartamento…le riprese sono finite e adesso ha intenzione di trasferirsi a Los Angeles. (qualcosa che pensava non avrebbe mai fatto). Mi ha detto che gli piacerebbe vivere in un camper o nel retro di una macchina.
-Ha da poco letto un copione che, oltre ad essere orrendo, ha un titolo che ricorda un “brutto porno”. Ha aggiunto che odia i ruoli in cui deve interpretare il “ragazzo più bello del mondo”
-Mi ha detto di essere molto sorpreso dall’impatto che questo film avrà e da tutte le interviste e le telecamere…
-Mi ha chiesto quale film di Harry Potter stesse per uscire e si è messo a ridere quando gli ho detto che avrebbero tratto due film dall’ultimo libro
-Ho notato il vizietto del fumo…cattiva abitudine che lui ha imputato alla noia del set (avrà fumato 3 sigarette durante la nostra conversazione). Gli ho detto che mio marito usa la stessa identica scusa tutte le volte che va in Iraq…e Rob mi ha fatto delle domande sull’argomento.
-Mi ha confidato che trova la celebrità molto strana…mi ha raccontato che prima di parlare con me è sceso in città per prendersi un caffè, al mattino presto. e quando ha visto che alcune fan lo fissavano dall’altra parte della strada, si è sentito in imbarazzo (sebbene lui apprezzi…)
-Ha menzionato il titolo del libro che sta leggendo, ma si era dimenticato prenderlo su(quando l’ha comprato nemmeno sapeva di cosa parlasse…l’ha acquistato solo perché gli piaceva la copertina) ; mi ha anche consigliato una libreria di Portland.
-Ha anche detto che alcuni attori sul set sanno essere molto esigenti e scherzando abbiamo pensato che anche lui dovrebbe girare per il set pretendendo del caffè…
-Ha notato che i suoi occhi si stanno seccando a causa delle lenti a contatto.
